High level sport took place this weekend at the Mondial du Lion World Championship of Lion d’Anger for 6 and 7-year-old horses.

Thomas Carlile (FR) and Ténarèze won a magnificent double victory at the World Championship in the 7-year-old category.

Already a winner of the World Championship for the six-year-old category last year on the same course of Lion d’Angers, Ténarèze is the third horse in history to achieve a double victory.

Thomas Carlile who has been unstoppable the last few months (victory at Boekelo CCI***), dominated the competition from start to finish, and won the World Championship in the 7-year-old category beating double Olympic & world champion legend Michael Jung

“This is truly a very high level horse with phenomenal potential. It has the advantage of not having to compete out much, which helps preserve its physical state”, explained Thomas.

Thomas Carlile finishes his International Year with phenomenal success and realizes an extraordinary accomplishment.

This is a second international victory for the XC helmet!
